The British Bakery has been established for four years and is the only British style & British run Bakery on Fuerteventura. The Bakery is situated on the ferry road near the terminal for the ferry to and from Lanzarote, out of the main tourist district. This location however, enables the bakery to serve not just the many local residents but numerous regular customers from Lanzarote (many of whom buy in bulk as they have no similar shops on there island).

The bakery staff take pride in producing consistently good quality Bread Cakes & Pies. So whether you want just a few rolls to take away for lunch or need to stock up on provisions for the family, a visit to Windy Miller's Bakery is essential.

The Bakery

The British Bakery offers fresh baked Bread & Rolls as well as their very popular large Donuts (a popular early morning treat for many of the Spanish speaking customers). Along with the selection of breads, the bakery has a great reputation for the savoury pies and pasties which are hand made on the premises. From traditional favourites like the Sausage rolls (a best seller), Cornish pasties and of course Steak & Kidney Pies (the only ones hand made in the Canaries), to the more exotic and unusual such as the delicious Minted Lamb & Chicken Tikka bakes.

The Bakery staff don't stop there; every day there is a broad selection of cakes and tarts available (all, of course, hand made on the premises). So every taste will be satisfied whether you prefer a simple rhubarb or apple crumble or a fresh cream cake, the choice is there with typically 15 or more different cake and confectioneries available.

Enjoy a birthday or special occasion with a "made to order" Chocolate or Plain sponge decorated with your own chosen message (and even the candles) available in various sizes, starting from one big enough for just four slices through to fifty and usually available the day following the order.

The Cafe

The Cafe at The British Bakery is always a popular place for breakfast or lunch offering a full range of "all day breakfasts" from "Frosties" to a "Full English", hot pies and pasties. Salads and snacks available to eat in or take away. You can even pre order a picnic and have it ready for collection on your way to the beach or airport.

Opening hours and location
