Corralejo Shopping
For those of you that like shopping, Corralejo has a wide variety of shops to suit your needs.
El Campanario
The El Campanario shopping centre has a high bell tower that you can go up to get views all around Corralejo. In the centre there is a public square that holds live musical events and a Canarian Market each Sunday. It is open every day from 10am until 10pm.
The El Campanario has quite a pretty setting and you can by a full range of goods here from clothing, sports goods,jewelery, mobile phones etc. There is also a supermarket. You will also find a lot of perfume shops selling products by Clarins, Clinique etc. I am not sure if these are cheaper than in the uk, but their goods are very popular.
Corralejo
Las Palmera Shopping Centre
The most recent shopping centre to open was the Las Palmeras in July 2010. It is partly covered in and partly open and has an open feel to it. There are a range of shops, a supermarket and cafes.
Corralejo Main Street
As you wander down the main street of Corralejo you will find a variety of shops, some of these are the usual tourist shops selling towels, souvenirs and things for the beach. You will also see several electrical shops. People think that the prices in the electrical shops will be cheaper than in the UK, but this may not be the case. You should also bear in mind that if your goods break down you will have difficulty getting help from the shop owner if you are in the UK. Fuerteventura does have a consumer advice centre, which can help you.
Towards the bottom of the street you will find the desinger "Mango" shop and near the harbour a Benneton branch.

If you wander from the harbour end of town inland towards the bus station, see the Corralejo map, aroung the area marke d in blue, you will come across lots of shops in the streets around there.
There are lots of shops selling goods for day to day living, such as those sold by Home from Home ( By the way if you want to ty a diving experience Abyss divers is in that area, call in for a chat.
Aloe Vera
One product that you will find in abundance is Aloe Vera, which is grown and processed on Fuerteventura. This is a very good product with rejuvenating, healing or soothing properties. Its a very popular treatment for sunburn and you can also drink it for your health. Tastes bad though!
