Kings day, Corralejo 2008, Christmas on Fuerteventura

Kings day Corralejo, 6th Jan 2008

Spanish children open their presents on the morning of the 6th January. On the evening of the 5th the Three Kings arrive to bring the presents to the children. There is a parade, with the three kings on their camels throwing sweets to the children.

The biggest parade on the island is in Puerto del Rosario. In Caleta the parade starts in Montecastillo and marches into Caleta. In Corralejo it starts at the water park and parades through the main street to the plaza.
