These things seem very popular around the island atm. Saw a couple f'ing and blinding at each other over going too quick/slow!
This Christmas they forecast that the present to have will be the stand on hoverboard. Wonder how long it will be before we see them for hire?

The Ayunmiento de Antigua are going to pass a by-law to try and control the motorised scooters in Caleta.

The hoverboards look like a recipe for increased A&E activity.

The scooters do not seem to be an intelectual activity.

Apparently the hoverboards are very dangerous and several have exploded. The scooters in Caleta are also dangerous, but in a different way !

have to agree !!! when i was over last month said then its only going to be a matter of time before someone is injured by a tourist speeding along the coastal path where young children will be running around or even the elderly are walking !!

There were a group of lads / grown men on the beach had them and they were fooling about with them, had no consideration for anyone walking along
I think they could really do someone an injury especially with the weight of a grown man landing on you as well as the scooter!!

The Xmas must have present this yr in the UK (London) is the segway and they are banned from public footpaths already here, but doesn't stop anyone !!
