People,

Myself and family are staying in a villa in "Calle Jardines de Ayose" next month, which appears to be almost inside the fairways of the golf club, and I was pondering a few things:
Where would be a good steak / rib restaurant to visit.
What would be the best bar for watching English football (I need my fix, even on holiday!)
And, where would be the best place to shop for food? We're self catering, and will probably be mostly using the villa's BBQ, so was after some nice local stuff, if possible. The Spar inside the Atlántico Fuerteventura is the local shop. Would that be just as good a place as any?

Thanks in advance,
Brad

I'm not up to date on good places to eat steak in Caleta, but I'll ask a few people what they think.

There are football bars aplenty.

Do you support a particular team?

Man U. Legends.
Man City. The Penalty Spot.
Villa Villa Pizza in Nuevo Horizonte
Arsenal Villa Pizza.

I think you will be as well going to the Spar as anywhere else as you are so close.

Deepdale, thanks for the replies.
I noticed straight after I'd posted this that it was in the wrong sub-forum. I PMed the Mod to get it moved to the correct place.

I'm a Spurs supporter, so I think I'll be giving the Villa Pizza a wide berth!

Thanks again,
Brad

The Arsenal supporters in Villa Pizza are friendly enough and one of the regulars is a Spurs supporter. That's Alf. He's the one with the whiskers.

The pizzas are excellent too, if you fancy a change from all that red meat.

All the sports bars are flexible with what they show depending on who is around in a particular week.

In that recommendation, I'll give the Villa Pizza a whirl.
Thanks very much for your info smiley20

The Spar in the Atlantico centre would be good for food.It has excellent fresh fish and meat counters.Everything you need for a decent barbecue.
