I saw a notice signed by the mayor saying that as from yesterday those in the Claeta and Las Salinas areas should point their aerials at Montana Blanca, AKA Chipmunk Mountain, so as to overcome some of the problems with reception of the digital television signal in the area.

It didn't mention Nuevo, but as the reception is not good in some places there, it might be worth trying that too.

I just pointed an aerial on the roof of paradise cove towards chipmunk mountain and I now have more channels, better pictures etc. etc.

I could watch Spurs Birmingham if I wanted to.

The complex I am on has the benefit of a community satellite dish. I have been told that all I have to do is buy a tv with integated digital capability plug it in and away you go. Channels I've been told I will get include TVE1, TVE2, Antena3, Telecinco, Cuatro, Teledeporte, ClanTV, Nova, Siete, TV Canaria, Popular TV. Are there any English speaking channels that will be available to me?

On your remote there will be a button to change the language. On mine it says A/B for some reason. This allows you to change the language on many programs to the original, which is usually English.

That makes many films on the main channels available in English and also many of the mainstream television series such as CSI etc.

There´s a sprinkling of sports prograammes on, particularly handball and basketball. We also watch some Spanish football league and cup games. We also watch the Grand Prix. Tennis is alson on quite regularly - we watched Andy Murray lose in the Australian Open.
