Me & the family had a bus ride (well 2 really ) over to Caleta last Sunday.Headed straight to Tommy Nutters for what we think is the best Sunday Roast on the Island. hungry1 hungry1 smiley20 1st
We then wandered into Caleta, where we had a couple of drinks in the Kings Head.
My hubby had seen sign for a bar called The Dog & Duck, but we could'nt find it. :(
We wandered a bit further, & we found it, hidden away in a hotel complex.
What a lovely bar,Nice & quiet, like an old fashioned English bar, no TV's,just a games room. Lovely chap behind the bar, very welcoming.
We sat outside, (Luckily not many smokers outside !!)& the girls spotted a Skittles game. Hubby decided to show off his 'skills', & that was it for the next 2 hours !!!!
Great prices aswell, would recomend to all. banana1 happydance2
We really do enjoy our days out in Caleta. wave1

Nice to read that you had a good day out in Caleta. Both places you mention are very popular :D

We did the opposite - we went to Corralejo from Caleta :D We saw the swmimmers come in from doing the Lobos to Corralejo swim, went to the football, had a walk round, went to the Botanical gardens and then to the Casa de Coroneles in La Oliva. All very nice :D
