Diggers are making holes opposite Cocosol, as well as tidying up and moving building materials in. There are plans to build 19 villas there. They should have good views, but there is a fair amount of land between them and the sea. Maybe it will be made into a golf course?

Is it true that villas are being built on the site of the Commercial Centre at Neuvo Horizonte and the Commercial Centre is going elsewhere :?:

The builders are on with the villas across from Cocosol. They are starting to take shape and with any luck the digger they use to dig into the rocks will soon be finished.

Does anyone have any info on the Palm Gardens Development (across from Mustang Sallys). We were told they were to commence building last January. Any sign of work there?

We have been told by someone that The Midas Touch Estate Agents have closed down. We are concerned about this as we have been dealing with them regarding Palm Gardens. We have failed to contact them by phone.

Anyone got any info.

Midas Touch have been moving office a bit and are hard to track down but there is nothing to worry about as far as I can tell. They will be moving into the old Hilton House office in Nuevo soon. There has been problems contacting them by phone because it takes the phone service here longer for example when you change offices than they claim. We spoke to a guy from Midas touch only yesterday and all will be well.

There seems to be a new breed of builder in Costa Antigua. All the developments are going up as if the workers were on big bonuses for completing them. Shouldn't be long before the rock peckers have finished on the Palm Gardens plot. They don't half make a din.

"Nuevo Horizonte" or "Costa de Antigua" has started a new life. When during years and years nothing was going on, now building is rising everywhere. Palm Gardens is under construction with 3 bedroom triplexes, villas are rising up as mushrooms, a new project called Coast Paradise with 1 bedroom apartments has started also and I have heard even that part of the land between Nuevo Horizonte and Caleta has been sold to some investors and they are making the plans for the moment. Also saw the plans of a new project in front of the Elba Hotel that will probably start around easter and looks very nice.

This means that the area is waking up and that all the people that have invested in the past will see there property value rising and be able to enjoy a nice area.
Personaly I think a shopping centre is too early. There are still plenty of comercial space available and not enough residents yet to make it work all year round.

Sunny regards,
Chango
