Feria del Deporte, Fuerteventura Sports fair
The second Feria del Desportes took place at the Granja de Pozo Negro, on the 19th to the 22nd April. Like last year there was the opportunity to see or try out almost any sport imaginable for free!
An Interview with the Vice Consul
When you apply for a new passport the fee you pay includes an amount to cover the cost of providing consular support to British nationals living or visiting foreign countries. They can provide a variety of support but the main services are-
Caleta update
There is quite a bit of change going on in Caleta de Fuste right now. The roads are being resurfaced and are better for having no potholes! The work is currently going on in the steet at the back of Caleta Gardens
Skateboarding and Fuercross Championship
A Skateboarding event and also the third Fuercross Championship will take place this weekend, the 14th and 15th April.
"Queremos Ponerte Bonita" removes 1.300 Tonnes Of debris and scrap.
The campaign has also worked recently around Playa Blanca near to Puerto del Rosario, where the buildings known as "El Palomar" have been demolished.
Safer roads in Fuerteventura!
Jesús de León emphasized that "the accidents with injuries has gone down by 30% during the last four years, since the creation of the “Plan de Seguridad Vial"
