The St Petersburg Ballet Company tour Fuerteventura.

The St Petersburg Ballet Company, has recently visited Fuerteventura with dates in Gran Tarajal, Puerto del Rosario and Corralejo.

This is a passionate love story between a prince and a beautiful girl Odette, (Tatiana Serova) who has been transformed, along with her friends, into white swans.

The prince is tricked into believing that Odile,(the black swan) is Odette as the magician wants the prince to marry his daughter.

The St. Petersburg ballet company was founded in 1966 as Ballet Theatre of St. Petersburg under the direction of Piotr Gusev, renowned dancer, choreographer, teacher and awarded the highest distinction in Russia.

This ballet company is said to be the best in the world. The main dancers in this performance were Tatiana Serova, Andrei Evdokimov, Andrey Besov, T. Ariskina, A. Voitin i P. Zhitkov
