The international press coverage that the sucesses of the Fuerteventura Cyling team provides helps to promote the Island and should hopefully affect an increase in tourism. Fuerteventura is also now promoted on TV in Spain with, for example, the programme Money Money offering a text in competition to win a holiday in Fuerteventura.
