TWENTY GIRLS AND BOYS FIGHTING FOR THE TITLE OF MISS & MISTER FUERTEVENTURA

The gala will be on Sunday April 25th at 21:00 in the Rotunda shopping center of Puerto del Rosario

Puerto del Rosario, April 21, 2009. The accidental president of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Guillermo Concepción, received this morning at twelve girls candidates for the title of Miss Fuerteventura and the eight boys for Mister Fuerteventura. At the reception was also present the Minister of Tourism of the Cabildo, Agueda Montelongo.

Concepción transfer a message to the participants healthy competition "ever since a sense of participation." The accidental president alluded to the importance that tourism is supposed to Fuerteventura one of the contestants arrive at the contest of Miss and Mister Spain.

For its part, the holder of Tourism encouragement to those aspiring to "go preach where the name of Fuerteventura as the destination in the world and that everyone should visit." Montelongo recalled that the "most important of our land is the people who live there, the beaches and our cuisine is something minor."

The gala for the election of Miss and Mister Fuerteventura 2009 will be held on Saturday April 25 at 21:00 pm in the Mall round. In the same way, at 1:00 in the morning of that Saturday will be a presentation at the local Calle 54.

The Cabildo of Fuerteventura, through its Department of Tourism, working with this contest. Similarly, some companies in the island also support this event, like the Mall or the roundabouts Planning Worldwide.
