Ryanair flights landing in Fuerteventura from twelve destinations

The chairman of the council and the minister of Tourism welcome passengers of the low cost airline to the island

The President of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, Mario Cabrera, and the minister of Tourism, Agueda Montelongo, received this morning with the director of Ryanair Spain, Luis Fernandez, passengers on a flight from Brussels this company.

The Fuerteventura Tourist Board entertained the 187 passengers on the plane including information on the island and promotional gifts, such as discount vouchers for visiting the Oasis Park and straw hats.

This is one of 25 weekly flights from Ryanair will offer 12 different cities (Bournemouth, Dublin, East Midlands, Liverpool, Milan, Pisa, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Glasgow, London Stansted and Madrid). Representing, in total numbers, an offer of nearly 5,000 air seats per week to Fuerteventura.

Agueda Montelongo, chief island of Tourism, stated that "we are very pleased with the return of Ryanair to the island of Fuerteventura, given the importance of the impact of the airline for island tourism.
