Caleta Facelift

There are big changes planned for Caleta de Fuste with new roundabouts almost completed.

Caleta roundabout The biggest roundabout is being built at the first entrance to Caleta, where the old post offfice used to be, with a further roundabout which has already been constructed at the next junction as you enter Caleta.

The walkway and cycle path that has been built leading to the Atlantico shopping centre centre will be extended to meet the new roundabout.

The roundabout will allow for the proposed new development of Caleta which will consist of a new school and nursery, and administrative facilities such as offices for the Guardia Civil.

The road leading to this new development will come from the roundabout and meet with the current buildings on Chipmonk mountain.

The plan is witing for approval at the moment, we will let you know when a final decision has been made.
