New Visitor Centre at Cuevo De Llanos, near Villaverde.

The centre will allow you to explore the cave, which is a million years old, and is the oldest in all the archipelago. It is home to an endemic spider, Maiorerus Randoi, and has a subterranean gallery that is 400m in length and 7 to 10m metres wide.

The President of the Cabildo, Mario Cabrera, and spokespersons for all the political groups, met on the 10th of this month with an official delegation from the Republic of Gambia as part of a series of activities entitled “Espacio casa África”. Discussions related to development, security and the fight against illegal immigration.

Accreditation for the milk products laboratory.

Fuerteventura award winning cheese

The Department of Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca del Cabildo de Fuerteventura, under the direction of Juan Estárico, published the decision of ENAC has accredited the milk products laboratory of Fuerteventura’s microbiological analysis. This is the first time that such an accreditation has been awarde to any facility on the Canary Islands.
