The implantation of digital terrestrial television (DTT) in fuerteventura will reached 99% of the island

Two analouge stations on the island are switched off, while the start-up of six new digital ones gets under way.

The process will be completed in six successive phases that will run until March 7

The implementation of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) will reach Fuerteventura 99,21% coverage of the island, by the private platforms, and 99.38% in relation to public issues, once the process completes blackouts analog and digital lit to be held in 23 centers of emission of the island

 

After a first phase that took place in La Oliva to the middle of last year, Jan 20 began the first of six that will complete the process at a rate of one per week until March 7. This route was made public yesterday by the Agency for Innovation, Research and Information Society of the Canarian Government, following a meeting with the Directorate General of Telecommunications, Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, which holds the relevant powers.
