Between 12,000 and 15,000 trod the sands of El Cotillo in the two days of performances of the Fuerteventura Music Festival.

La Shica master-class workshops brought together about thirty people during daytime activities

Neither rain ,nor cold , nor the World Cup could compete with the desire of more than 12,000 spectators who came to La Concha beach in El Cotillo , during the two-day Music Festival in Fuerteventura .

The Minister of Culture and Historical Heritage of the Cabildo, Genara Ruiz , praised the festival as a " complete success " that has after seven editions proven to be "a strong cultural reference , capable of overcoming all odds and continue to deliver year after year a musical event different from other concerts held in the Canaries, and even at national level " , as has been seen with the coverage of the event media that have developed around the Spanish State.

Friday was the busiest night of the public , reaching its highest peak during a performance by Luciano & Turbulence which shows the triumph of reggae among the followers of Fuerteventura in Music. Another of the most acclaimed performances by the participants was that of the Senegalese Daara J. Family who surprised with his hip- hop dynamic and innovative . As for the connection to the audience at the Festival , Los Delinqüentes and La Shica did not disappointed at all, giving more than many expected.

New this year include the major host of parallel activities during the day took place at the Cultural Center of El Cotillo and gathered around thirty people. Children and adults could enjoy the different workshops , juggling and acrobatics , among others , by the magazine Fuertemovimiento Macaronesia and the Association and the flamenco Master-class, provided by the multifaceted artist Elsa Rovayo , better known as La Shica .

Finally , the counselor Genara Ruiz wanted to thank the participation of all those who make possible the holding of Fuerteventura in Music, “All of them , really Deserve a sincere thanks . "
