Sol y Luna 2006, Playa Blanca, Puerto del Rosario

On the 17th of June the 10th celebration of Sol y Luna will be held, on Play Blanca beach, with 24 hours of sports tournaments, exhibitions and music.

It begins about 10am with lots of sporting activities going on during the day such as badminton, football, volleyball canoeing, fishing and there will be exhibitions of vehicles such as trail bikes, and a parachute display.

To amuse the little ones there will be inflatables, jugglers and face painting. From the evening onwards there will be a musical extravaganza with Appletizer, (who may be female dancers) and the group Macado

Free buses will run every half hour from the church in Puerto del Rosario

At last years event, we were entertained by the popular group "Efecto Mariposa", and we really enjoyued watching the sports events.
