Project to examine the lives of the whales and other marine life around Fuerteventura
The Cabildo of Fuerteventura has,in collaboration with the University of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, funded a project costing 30,000 euros and lasting for two months, to place transmitters on whales., which will allow volunteers and experts to examine the habitat of those and other marine species around Fuerteventura.
Ryanair announces new flight connection to Fuerteventura
Ryanair has recently announced it’s fourth connection to Fuerteventura as it begins to take bookings from Shannon airport in Ireland. Dublin and Gerona currently operate three flights a week and Düsseldorf, in Germany, has four weekly connections.
Motocross on Fuerteventura
The fifth of the six annual motocross events took place Puerto del Rosario on Sunday 3rd June.
