The new Red Cross ambulance medicalized, will cover the south of the island

Today presented at the Cabildo was the vehicle, which has been acquired by the island-wide collection of Gold Sweepstakes last year.

This is the second of these type of ambulance to come into operation on the island, and will work closely with the Canary Islands Health Service

The President of the Cabildo, Mario Cabrera, President of the Assembly of Red Cross in Fuerteventura, Gerardo Mesa, the mayor of Puerto del Rosario, Marcial Morales, insular and counselor Security and Emergency, Guillermo Concepción, attended today's presentation medicalized that the new ambulance was purchased by the NGO, with the island-wide campaign conducted on the Gold Sweepstakes last year.

The total collection of the latest edition of the draw carried out with the collaboration of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura and the municipalities of the island amounted to 53,960 euros, goes to an almost entirely in the dept Insular, allowing Red Cross acquire the new vehicle at a cost of 49,140 euros.
