'Fuerteventura in Music 2009' will be held on July 4 and 3 in El Cotillo, once an agreement for the availability of the land required for the access road, has been made with the municipality of La Oliva . The Ministry of Culture and Heritage and the Historic Cabildo of Fuerteventura, will shortly sign bands that will participate, always with the same key issue as last year, seeking to combine a group of national and international performers including groups canarios .
The Festival site will remain the same as last year, while making slight modifications to improve accessibility and provision of safety equipment, services, etc.. 'Fuerteventura Music 2009 - La Caja de Canarias' will also have a large team of cleaning that will clean up and manage the entire area after the Festival.
The celebration of "Music in Fuerteventura 2009 - La Caja de Canarias' also responds to the demand of local residents and businesses of El Cotillo, who value it as an important initiative to revitalize the area. It also has the support of La Caja de Canarias, the Municipality of La Oliva, the owners of Casa Africa, TV Canaria and Canary Islands Government, together with other companies and partners.
