The first day of the FEAGA at Pozo Negro is as busy as usual.
The minister of Transport and Communications of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, directed by Pilar Rodríguez, will provide, in the first two weeks of June, some informative workshops about the introduction of the new points system for driving licences. The initiative will begin in the Gran Tarajal area, and will then be carried out at other places on the island. The public information campaign will be run alongside that being conducted by the Spanish Government.
The Director General of Fred Olsen Ferries, Guillermo Van de Waal has confirmed to te President of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Mario Cabrera, that his company has made a formal request to the Port Authorities of Las Palmas and the Port Services of the Canaries Government for a permit to commence a service between the ports of Morro Jable and Las Palmas once the work to improve the infrastructure that the Government of the Canaries is carrying out has been completed.

The islands museums will have free entry on May 18th.

The Department of the Environment of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura has put the document that contains the proposed areas to be designated as Special Protection Zones for Birds (Zona de Especial Protección para Aves (ZEPA)) into the public arena.
The Departmment for Infrastructure of the Cabildo, directed by Jesús León, reports that the works to improve and recondition the FV20 road, which is being carried out between Tesjuate and Puerto del Rosario has resulted in the re-routing of traffic being necessary due to the laying of asphalt and road widening.

The President of the Cabildo visits the site accompanied by the Mayor of Puerto Del Rosario and the members of the theatre company who performed the opera Tosca.
