BinterCanarias was present at the Gran Baile de Taifas

This took place on Friday May 29 in Puerto del Rosario,as a prelude to the Canaries Day celebrations.

This is the ninth edition of this traditional music and dance event, organized annually by the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, which was attended by many groups from the island, and the rest of the archipelago.

The airline brought a very special representative for the occasion, el baifo (the kid) NT 202. This animal has become the mascot BinterCanarias, after a farmer from Fuerteventura give it to the airline as a gift on the occasion of the christening of one of its aircraft with the name El Baifo, on May 6th. Originally the animal was called NT 202, the numbering of the first connecting flight to Fuerteventura, in the year 1989.

BinterCanarias took advantage of the meeting to share various presents among those attending. which without doubt made the party more lively.
