The Fuerteventura tourist board reports success at Feria Suiza de Montreaux.

Fuerteventura was promoted as part of Turespaña, along with Gran Canaria and Tenerife, the only three islands from the Canarian archipelago to attend. Other Spanish sectors that participated were Andalusia, the Balearic Islands and Valencia and a few other Spanish businesses relating to the tourist sector.

According to the councillor of Tourism, each time they visit the fair the image they present of Fuerteventura becomes more positive. Visitors to the fair particularly impressed by the image of the new hotel complex being built in Las Playitas, and others that will be complete in the next few weeks.
