Flooding in parts of Fuerteventura was caused by the severe thunderstorm which hit the island yesterday morning. Puerto del Rosario was on of the most affected areas, local police and firemen received several reports simultaneously in la Avenida Marítima y las calles León y Castillo y Virgen de la Peña, and other areas, where standing water caused a serious problem.
Very intense rain was also reported in Great Tarajal, Tuineje, with El Matorral, Puerto del Rosario, y en el Barranco de la Torre, Antigua seriously affected.
