The new Centre for the Disability Service has already completed its first units

The City Council welcomed the work already completed on a visit that included the president of the Cabildo, the Minister of Social Welfare and Infrastructure and the heads of companies who manage and carry out the work

The Cabildo of Fuerteventura formaly accepted Phase 1 of the Island Care Centre for the Disabled, with an investment of 1.2 € million jointly between the insular institution and the Canary Islands

Once completed the building work, the Ministry of Welfare of the Cabildo that drives this project is expected to implement the provision of furniture and equipment with an investment of an additional 600,000 euros, with the intention that the centre and installations can be operational before the end of the year.

The visit to the building this morning was attended by President of the Cabildo, Mario Cabrera, counselors Social Welfare Island and Infrastructure, Victor Perez Alonso and Edilia and technicians responsible for the Corporation and the successful bidder (UTE-Verdesuárez Arcoin ) and responsible for the technical direction of the work (N2M Architects).
