"Vuelta a Fuerteventura en Kayak" covers last section

On Saturday September 1 the kayaks who participated in the “Vuelta a Fuerteventura en Kayak” returned at their starting point Puerto del Rosario. Conditions where rough this year and only 17 of the 30 kayaks that started on August 25 made it till the last section from Pozo Negro to Puerto. In one week they covered 330 km.

During the last section they joined up with the yacht “Isla de Fuerteventura” that came home from a nine month trip around the world. Both the yachts as the kayaks were welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd including Mario Cabrera, president of the Cabildo en the islands sports councillor Edilia Pérez.
