240 fuerteventura school children lead by example in the European car free day

60 children from Sacred Heart School cycled round the capital of Fuerteventura. Three other locations on the island, also participated in activities related to the European Mobility Week.

Some 240 students from 5th and 6th grade, from four schools across the island participated in this morning's program of activities organized by the Ministry of Environment of the Cabildo, in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto del Rosario, on the occasion of European Car Free Day, framed in the European Mobility Week which takes place between 16 and 22 of this month under the theme 'Improving the climate of your city!'.
