The Concentracion de Motos, was organised by the Chicago Rock Cafe to celebrate the first aniversary of the opening of their bar in Caleta de Fuste.

Gathering for the tour Enclosed are some photos we took of the bikes, no action ones I am afraid due to having to have both hands on the handlebars. Its a shame because it was pretty spectacular going through the mountains from La Pared to Betancuria.

This was the first ride or rather " 1 concentracion de motos ". It started with a party at the Rock Cafe on Saturday evening and the ride was on Sunday starting from the Rock Cafe to the Harley Bar down at Tarajalejo for refreshments (no alcohol, due to police escort all day)

Then on to the petrol station at Costa Calma , to La Pared and up to Betancuria. Lunch was at Villa Verde, next a visit to Blue Jeans bar in Corralejo then back to the Chicago Rock Cafe in Caleta, for T Shirts, Certificates and ice cream. It was a very tiring day and we did 130 miles.

Taking a break The bikes were a mixture of sports, tourers and custom with pillions too. (I was the only female rider! So lets get women on bikes next year!!!!)There was about 50 bikes in total.

We left at about 11 am and got back at about 6pm. It was well organised, the police blocked roads to let us through and people came on bikes and cars. Next year promises to be even better. Riders came from the other islands to join in the tour. There is a 3 day event at the end of the month in Lanzarote which will be good too.
