Windsurfing in El Cotillo, Fuerteventura

These photographs show windsurfing and kiteboarding close to El Cotillo. The beach is just south of El Cotillo, which can be seen in the background of some of the photographs. The day we took the photographs, during the peak season, there were about twenty or so people out enjoying the strong wind that was blowing that day. There seems to be some sort of agreed course that involves going out and returning along lines that run perpendicular to the coast. We hope the photographs give some idea of the conditions off this beach, but if you are a windsurfer who has used this area, why not send us a brief summary of the conditions here?
