International Kite Festival, Festival International de Cometas , Playa del Burro 9-12th November 2007

Fuerteventura presents another spectacular display of colourful kits at this year's kite festival. Here are a few photographs of some of the colourful kites.

This one must belong to one of the locals. Its a fuerte goat, the symbol of Fuerteventura, and these very pretty kites seem to have been made from old bits of plastic.

This is the third time we have visited the kite festival and although some of the kites are the same as previous years there are always new kites to see and it is always worth a visit as it is such a relaxing friendly event to attend.
