Our favourite photographs of Fuerteventura

At first glance Fuerteventura can seem like a barren landscape, but if you spend time here on the island, you cant help being fascinated by the changing landscape. In just a short drive the scenery can change several times. These are some of our favourite photographs of Fuerteventura.

This fish shows up some fabulous colours - I love sunset pictures.

The church in Antigua is particularly photogenic -I wish I could do that!.

Ok, its difficult to see but the blur, just under the bird on the right is a chipmunk that ran off with the bird's food! It was moving so fast - I love this church in Betancuria.

This is the cemetary at Cofete, I love the clouds -On seeing this spider's web, we didn't hang around to photograph the spider!.

I just like this one. - This was taken from the plane on the way here. Wow.

The interesting hole in the rock makes this picture, its on the beach where the American Star can be seen

Its great to watch the experienced surfers here, but hard to get a great picture.

Ok, I said I loved sunsets.

This picure looks so tranquil.

When we visited the wreck there was a calima, I think it makes the photograph look spooky.
