Achipencos, Fuerteventura

The archipencos is a raft race that takes place as part of the Carnaval in Puerto del Rosario. It is a great fun day out and lots of people come to watch.

There were about 20 craft, including a boxing ring and a bride in a horse drawn carriage. They were launched at the harbour and were supposed to get to Los Hornos beach. Some made it and some didn't.

I am not sure who the winner was, but its great fun to watch.
