Miles Away is family business, run by Sonia and her son Nick. The business was set up to plug the gap in the market for those that want to buy greetings cards and party accessories that have the messages in English. Greetings cards are much more a feature of the English way of life than they are in Spain, so cards as a whole were something of a scarcity on the island. Now Miles Away are able to offer the full range of greetings cards to suit all occasions.

The Miles Away shop is situated under the Elba Castillo Suites hotel complex, facing the sea in Caleta de Fuste. The exact location of Miles Away can be found on the Caleta de Fuste Map.

Besides being able to find a comprehensive array of British birthday cards for all ages in the shop, you can also find wrapping paper and bows.

Party Accessories

For that special celebration, you may choose to buy helium balloons, badges, banners, confetti, party invitations and party poppers. You can also buy personally designed, and stitched cards, and can put a photograph on a card with a "humourous" (to you) comment.

General Stationery and Books

At Miles Away you can purchase diaries, calendars, post cards, drawing pins etc. and they stock a range of new and used books for children and adults, as well as dictionaries.

Soft Toys

At Miles Away you will also find a range of soft toys and teddies of various sizes.

Image Transfer

If you find that the disk in your digital camera becomes full, then at Miles Away you can have digital images from your camera transfered to a CD or DVD, allowing you to continue recording memorable scenes to your heart's content.

Photocopying and Laminating

If you find yourself in need of photocopying then Miles Away do both photocopying black & white or colour and laminating upto A3 size, and if you need printing they can currently offer this up to A4 size at the moment.
