Fuerteventura is one of the seven Canary Islands, the others being Lanzarote, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, El Hierro, La Palma and La Gomera. Fuerteventura is just south of Lanzarote, and is the island closest to the African Coast, some 60 miles away.
Most of the building has been completed. There is some internal work going on, but only in one block at a time. We asked someone who had stayed there for a week, and they said they hadn't heard any building work.
The event is annual, this year it's on the 12 & 13 of November, at La Playa del Burro beach, Corralejo
We went down to Morro Jable and checked the supermarket. The only brand they carried was Hero.
